Get2Volume Funds ConnectedHealth To Further Deploy Its Remote Health Management System

Get2Volume, Sovran and Singapore National Research Foundation Invest in ConnectedHealth

Singapore, December 3, 2012 - ConnectedHealth, a provider of health monitoring connectivity solutions, today announced it has completed incubation financing, raising US$530,000 and incubation support. Singapore-based Get2volume has funded and will incubate ConnectedHealth with co-funding from the Singapore National Research Foundation and US health care company Sovran, Inc. This funding will be used to accelerate deployment of ConnectedHealth's wireless health monitoring platform.

ConnectedHealth has developed health monitoring connectivity solutions that drive down health care costs by improving patient compliance. ConnectedHealth's eHealth Platform product is the first to provide an end to end connected solution for remote health management. ConnectedHealth enables health care providers to manage patient costs through remote monitoring. ConnectedHealth's use of standard hardware and third party devices results in lower costs over existing wireless health solutions, better integration into health care providers existing patient management systems (Electronic Health Records, patient management) and improved scalability to large numbers of patients.

According to ConnectedHealth CEO Mike Holt, wireless monitoring holds great potential as a solution that will help improve profit margins for health care providers while providing optimum patient care. "Health care providers have demonstrated that the ConnectedHealth wireless platform reduces health care costs", Holt noted. "Use is seamless for patients".

This funding is being used to accelerate customer deployment of ConnectedHealth's eHealth Platform – particularly in the U.S. and Australian markets. Holt continued, "With this funding, ConnectedHealth is providing its proven eHealth solution beyond its initial deployments to patient systems in the U.S. and Australia where reducing health care costs while improving patient care is a focus".
